This video is a satire because it is an argument/ debate about what they can do better than the other and why they should be president while pointing out faults in each other. I found it funny because it was two very strong figures acting improper and inappropriate trying to one-up each other.

Indianapolis 500-100 in 2013  

This article is satire because of its reference to the rising price of gas and how unaffordable it is to fill up. It is a funny article because it is a historical racing event and that could never be changed. The fact that the very wealthy owners could not pay for the gas prices is very humorous.

Boy finds dead father in camera!

A boy goes to a garage sale and buys a Polaroid camera as a surprise for his grandmother. When he gets home he starts looking through the old photos in the camera, as he is looking through he finds one that stands out so he shows it to his grandmother. When the grandmother looks at the picture she finds that its her dead son that died 23 years before finding him. The owners could not remember how they got the camera.

First satire blog post

Grade nine students were shocked when an unnamed student said they did not have a cell phone when asked to hand them in before a test. The teacher said "I did not believe him, I thought it was some sort of joke". the rest of the class laughed as the teacher interigated him for saying he did not have a cell phone. All the children have been making fun of him. They say the he will be buying a cell phone soon.

What I think is funny!

I personaly think the funniest things come out of sichuations that are not expected or not planned.That is only one type of comedy but another is setup comedy where there are setup jokes and planned occurences to create a funny situation. The third type of comedy is also setup but is more witty and thought out. To acheive this there has to be sutup charactors and a setup situation.

Immigrant Experiance

As a migrant worker I live a very hard life. I wake up very early in the morning and work long hot days on the farm trying to provide for my wife, mother, and 5 children. In Oklahoma there has been a drastic water shortage and the soil which was once very furtile is now dry and rough. The dirt got so bad that whenever the wind would pick up there would be large dust storms covering everything in sight. The soil started to become imposible to farm on so my family and many other immigrants had to move to California where it is warmer for more of the year and there is lots of good soil to cultivate. My life has been just as rough as before with lots of work and bad living conditions.
